Growing Community

Installation, Concrete, Soil, Bread, Printouts, 2023

„Growing Community" represents the cycle of wheat, how it nourishes us, allowing growth and exchange. Part of the installation is a recreation of the my grandmother's house, made from bread. In sharing her bread she was feeding her family, and building a community through the process. In growing grain we are also growing community, through giving and taking from the land and the people around us we care for the environment we inhabit.
